Frequently asked questions
- How much mushroom coffee should I use?
- One scoop (1 scoop (10 g)) per cup with 6–8 fl oz of hot water. Each bag holds 30 scoops.
- Do I need a coffee maker or a frother?
- No. WakersHAPPYCoffee® is instant — a spoon and hot water are all you need. A frother or blender is only for the latte and blended recipes.
- Can I make mushroom coffee with milk instead of water?
- Yes. Dissolve the scoop in a little warm water first, then top up with hot or cold milk so it mixes smoothly.
- How much caffeine is in one cup?
- Yes. One scoop has about 165 mg of caffeine: 60 mg from French roast coffee plus 105 mg of added caffeine, according to the label. That's more than a typical cup of brewed coffee, so if you're sensitive to caffeine, start with one cup a day or a smaller scoop.
- What does it cost per cup?
- Our bundles work out to as little as $1.39 a cup, with tax and shipping included.
